I require a $35 deposit to hold an appointment which is collected at the time of scheduling and 100% refundable at the completion of our session.  I require a 24 notice to cancel or reschedule, otherwise your deposit will be kept/collected as a cancellation fee as outlined in my initial intake and policy form.  Communication with me is key, so please keep me aware of any circumstances as they come up.

Self-Pay Patient:

I require a $35 deposit to hold an appointment which is collected at the time of scheduling and then applied to your session balance. On the day of our session, I will provide you with an invoice to be paid before our session. At the completion of our session, I will provide you with a 'Superbill' that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.  It is my experience that most insurance companies fully cover a minimum of 3 lactation sessions. If desired, please call the member services number on the back of your insurance card to verify how you can be reimbursed if you use an 'out of network' provider prior to scheduling with me!

Lactation  Services

Initial Consult (1-2 hours)

Self-Pay Patients:

 -In Person: $200.00

-Virtual: $150.00

An initial intake and assessment of the feeding dyad takes place during this consult.  Topics discussed can include many aspects of infant/toddler feeding; i.e. pumping, back to work pumping plan, latching, positioning, milk supply, bottle feeding issues/questions, introducing solids, tongue ties, tethered oral ties, breast pain, etc. This visit will be tailored specifically towards you and your little.  Following the appointment, you will be provided with a care plan and any resources that were provided.   If a follow up is recommended, I will let you know. Please allow up to 48 hours for me to send over any information/resources discussed.

*Consults are offered in person at my discretion based on distance and availability*

Follow-up Visits (30-45 mins)

Self-Pay Patients:

- In Person: $155.00

-Virtual: $100.00

This session is a visit post initial consult.   You will receive any edits made to your care plan (if applicable) as well as any additional resources that were discussed.  Additional follow up visits can be scheduled at your discretion.  Please allow up to 48 hours for me to respond to your e-mails/texts for scheduling.

Consulting Packages:

It is my experience that within a year, a new mother will request anywhere from 3-4 lactation support sessions.  I often recommend at least 2 visits to allow for an initial and a follow up, but it is also beneficial to meet during new leaps, milestones, or any major feeding adjustments to allow for smoother transitions and overall continuation of care.  These visits help you to meet you where you are! My consulting packages allow for bulk purchase of 2, 3, or even 4 lactation visits!  Each package includes 1 initial consulting session and the 1, 2, or 3 consecutive follow ups.  These packages are good for use for 1 year from time of booking. If you want to inquire about adding more sessions to a booking, please reach out! Booking a package also allows for a discount in services for self-pay patients.

Food for thought-----

As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Speech-Language Pathologist, I am qualified to provide breastfeeding consultations, education, resources, and support, as well as information and diagnosis/treatment regarding infant oral structures, feeding, swallowing, and language development. On a case by case basis, I could also recommend various other providers such as pediatric dentists, pediatric ENTs, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Craniosacral Therapists, or Nutritionists/Dietitians depending on the individual situation.  Remember, it takes a village.
